The Ghosts Of Us

A story of two former lovers, now estranged in a big, bad city.

The Ghosts Of Us is a story of Ethan and Aria. Two former lovers who are living and working in the same city, trying to make life work, moving on with the speed of the city, attempting to forget the once-passionate relationship they had, one that faded away, leaving ruins, artifacts and remains with it.

The photographs are taunting, the memories are haunting and the old stuff that reminds of the person whom you have lost are like mini-ghosts, entrenched in our minds forever. Maybe that's why people try to forget themselves using alcohol. These ghosts surely need to be drowned. Like gremlins, they constantly annoy and pester, not letting one live in peace even for one single breath.

The story is about the quiet moments, the old memories, the things left unsaid, the glances that didn't happen, and the many 'what ifs' that haunt us long after a relationship we thought was forever, ends.

The back cover of this book has more clues:

In the heart of a bustling city that never sleeps, two souls drift through life haunted by the ghosts of their shared past.

Ethan, a talented architect, finds solace in his work, his designs reflecting the turmoil within him. Aria, a gifted journalist, pours her heartache onto the page, her words echoing the bittersweet memories that refuse to fade. Both are trapped in a cycle of regret and longing, unable to escape the specter of their lost love.

When fate throws them together at a wedding, the flames of their former passion are rekindled, forcing them to confront the painful truth of their separation. As they navigate the complexities of their feelings, Ethan and Aria must decide if some love stories are destined to remain unfinished or if they have the strength to rewrite their ending.

"The Ghosts of Us" is a poignant tale of love, loss, and the enduring power of memory in a city that both unites and divides.
